Hurstbridge Line Works

Due to signal and track improvement works, buses will replace trains between Heidelberg and Hurstbridge from approximately 7.30pm on the evenings from Monday 13 August through until Thursday 16 August.

As journey times will be extended by up to 30 minutes, we advise customers to check altered travel times with the PTV on 1800 800 007.

Replacement bus locations:

Heidelberg –At the bus interchange off Mount Street.

Rosanna – to the city: At the bus stop opposite the station entrance in Turnham Ave. From the city: At the bus stop outside the station entrance in Turnham Avenue.

Macleod – At the bus stop opposite the station entrance in Birdwood Avenue.

Watsonia – To the city: At the regular bus interchange outside the station entrance (off Greensborough Highway).  From the city: At the Regular bus interchange outside the station entrance (Off Greensborough Highway).

Greensborough – To the city: At the Regular bus stop opposite the station entrance in Para Parade. From the city:  At the Regular bus stop outside the station entrance in Para Parade.

Montmorency – To the city: At the Metro designated bus stop opposite the station in Station Road. From the city:  At the Metro designated bus stop outside the station entrance in Station Road.

Eltham – To the city: At the Regular bus interchange outside the station entrance (Off Main Road). From the city: At the Regular bus interchange outside the station entrance (Off Main Road).

Diamond Creek – To the city: At the Regular bus stop opposite Station Car Park in Hurstbridge Road. From the city: At the Metro designated bus stop outside Station Car Park in Hurstbridge Road.

Wattle Glen –  To the city: At the Metro designated bus stop opposite station in Heidelberg-Kinglake Road. From the city: At the Metro designated bus stop outside the station entrance in Heidelberg-Kinglake Road.

Hurstbridge – To/from the city: At the Metro designated bus stop Station Car Park (off Main Road).

Please note: In accordance with the Victorian Fares and Ticketing Manual 2012, bicycles, surfboards and dogs are not permitted to travel on buses. An exception exists for guide dogs, hearing guide dogs or guide dogs in training and small animals if they are suitable contained.
